Formed to elevate professional beaty and wellness through research and data
The Qnity Institute was founded based on filling a critical gap in the beauty and wellness industry. This lack of solid and respectable data is contributing to labor shortages, perception issues, lack of clarity of career opportunities, challenges on licensure and so much more. The institute serves as a trusted, third party source to elevate the industry – one research project at a time. The focus of the Qnity Instuitute for 2022-2023 will be on addressing compensation in pro beauty.

Our inaugural project started April 2022, when we conducted Phase 1 of a Pro Beaty Compensation Study to answer a simple question: What does a career in beauty and wellness look like from an earnings standpoint? The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and other sources paint a grim picture of about $27,000 per year. But is that the full truth? Our initial findings tell another story. Join us in Phase 2 of this Study.
